Andy is happy to teach skills to all ages and all group sizes anywhere in the UK or worldwide.
He has been teaching bushcraft & survival skills in the UK for over 20 years along with teaching environment specific skills in North & Central America, Canada, Fiji, Bulgaria, Asia and The Oman. He is always traveling the world working as a TV consultant and helping to run and lead expeditions leaning new skills in new environments and he is always happy to share.
Expeditions can take place worldwide and are run by him along with our team who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise to make any expedition educational, memorable, safe and fun.
Courses or expeditions are all bespoke and can be from one day to a month long depending on the needs of the client.
He has worked with Individuals and TV companies preparing for environment specific expeditions and programs, schools, youth groups, families along with private groups and individuals.
These are a few survival skills you will learn or need on your next production, contact us for more details.
I’ve worked with Andy as a key part of my team now for about a year and a half. The two Discovery Channel series filmed during that time were Left For Dead and First Man Out.
From the start Andy demonstrated great depth of knowledge in bushcraft and primitive survival skills. His job has been multifunctional in that he’s required both to advise with practical and experimental bushcraft elements of the show whilst also playing a critical safety role in some of the remotest environments in the world.
Over recent episodes Andy has also been required to manage and assist multiple on-screen contributors (talent) which he has always done with tact and emotional maturity.
Physically extremely robust, Andy has become hugely relied upon in high pressure situations and he’s always managed to maintain his wry sense of humour.
I’d recommend him highly to any television production needing top-level bushcraft or safety consultants.
