Film & Television Medical Cover

We will deliver medical cover on your production whether you are filming in United Kingdom or worldwide. Our professional staff are from a military and NHS background and have extensive experience in remote and hostile environments.

You can rest assure that whoever we send to your production will be approachable and highly professional. Our medics have a wide range of experience in film and television, having worked on big screen productions and smaller TV projects. 
We are always equipped to deal quickly and effectively with minor injuries or serious accidents on set or location. 
Hostile Medical Courses

FPOS(I)

The purpose of the First Person On Scene Intermediate (FPOSI) qualifications is to provide immediate life support to the patient on set pending the arrival of definitive pre-hospital care. Effective interventions have been shown to make a difference to survival outcome, and are reflected in our  syllabus.

FREC

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare people to be able to demonstrate the practical administration of safe, prompt, effective pre-hospital care in situations which can arise when providing emergency treatment and/or management. Endorsed by The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care- The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh

MIRA

Our MIRA course is for those people working in remote areas throughout the world, whether they are a CP officer or  somebody on set that wanted to better themselves with a more in depth medical knowledge. The Movie Medics will train them to a very high standard where they will learn how to deal with a medical issue within a remote environment.

Combined Courses

The Movie Medics can combine all courses which can be run over  5 days. You will gain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to deal with a range of prehospital care emergencies, such as: managing a patient's airways, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies and more...

Film & TV First Aid Courses

 If you are involved in the TV or Film industry including producers, production staff, runners, sparks, cameramen, lone workers and post production staff etc and looking to update your current first aid certificate these courses have been developed for you.

Or, if you want to get into the exciting and fast-moving industries of film, television and game production, these courses can help kick-start your career. They could also improve your employability as well as your own safety and that of your work colleagues by improving the first aid cover on a call sheet.

All our courses follow a strongly practiced orientated curriculum that combines theory and practical first aid elements within the filming industry. All of our courses are government regulated, meet all HSE requirements and are recognised by many leading industry employers such as the BBC and ITV. They have been designed so you can deal with up to 50 peoples first aid needs depending on the risk assessment.
